Crowd Sourced Photogrammetry

I collected crowd sourced photos, cleaned them up in Lightroom and imported them into Reality Capture to create a 3D reconstruction of the Artemision Bronze. I then cleaned up the resulting mesh and retextured it to get the image you see here.
The crowd sourced data was from a group of students with limited knowledge on good photograph practices. I picked the best images from the thousand collected and further cleaned those images up in Lightroom. Then did a base reconstruction in Reality Capture. The first version had a ton of artifacts. After some further adjustment in Reality Capture using built in tools and control points, I brought it into Zbrush to resculpt missing areas and clean up the sculpt. It was then imported into Maya to retoplogize it and created a new texture for it in Substance painter. The original texture from the photogrammetry scan was fixed in photoshop.
